You Initiate a Tip in Discord

Use /justthetip @user 0.5 in any Discord channel where the TiltCheck bot is present.

  • Recipient Check: Bot verifies recipient has a registered wallet
  • Wallet Options: Auto-created x402 wallet OR user's Phantom/Solflare
  • No Accounts: No sign-ups, no KYC, just link your wallet once
  • Privacy: Bot only stores your public address, never private keys

Transaction Created (Direct Transfer)

Bot generates a Solana transaction that sends SOL directly from YOUR wallet to THEIR wallet.

  • Two Transfers:
    1. Tip amount: Your wallet → Recipient's wallet
    2. Fee: Your wallet → Development wallet (0.0007 SOL)
  • No Custody: Bot NEVER holds your funds
  • Direct: Peer-to-peer transfer, no intermediaries
  • Transparent: You can see both transfers in the transaction

You Sign With Your Wallet

Bot sends you a secure approval link. You sign the transaction with your own wallet.

  • Signature Link: Sent via Discord DM (private)
  • Wallet Options: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, or x402
  • Review First: Your wallet shows EXACTLY what you're signing
  • You Control: You can decline/cancel at any time

Transaction Completes On-Chain

Once you sign, the transaction is submitted to Solana. Funds transfer directly. Bot never touches them.

  • Confirmation: Typically 1-3 seconds on Solana
  • Receipt: Transaction hash posted in Discord for verification
  • Explorer Link: View on Solscan to see both transfers
  • Final State: Recipient has SOL, dev wallet has fee, bot held nothing

Fee Structure (Transparent & Fair)

0.0007 SOL (~$0.07) per transaction goes to the TiltCheck development wallet to support ongoing development and infrastructure costs.

Example Breakdown:

  • You tip 0.5 SOL to @friend
  • Transfer 1: 0.5 SOL → Friend's wallet (the actual tip)
  • Transfer 2: 0.0007 SOL → Dev wallet (platform fee)
  • Total cost to you: 0.5007 SOL + Solana network fees (~0.00001 SOL)

Why this fee structure?

  • Transparent: Fixed amount, not a percentage. You know exactly what you're paying.
  • Fair: Small enough to not hurt tips, large enough to sustain development.
  • Honest: Fee goes to dev wallet, not hidden or disguised.
  • Optional: If fee wallet isn't configured, no fee is charged (dev/test mode).

Non-custodial means: Even though there's a fee, we NEVER hold your funds. The fee is part of the same transaction you sign. If you don't sign, nothing happens. If TiltCheck disappeared tomorrow, your wallet is unaffected—you retain 100% control.

QualifyFirst Withdrawals (Same System)

When you request a withdrawal from QualifyFirst survey earnings, the same non-custodial system handles the payout:

  • Treasury → Your Wallet: TiltCheck treasury pays you directly
  • No Fee: Withdrawals don't charge the 0.0007 SOL fee (you already earned it)
  • Minimum: $5.00 USD worth of SOL to process
  • Processing: Within 24 hours, direct to your wallet
