TiltCheck ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our Discord bot and related services.

Key principle: We collect only what's necessary to protect you from tilt and scams. We don't sell your data.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Automatically Collected Data

  • Discord User ID: To identify you in our system
  • Server ID: To track which Discord servers use TiltCheck
  • Message Metadata: Timestamp, message count, channel ID (we do NOT store message content)
  • Tilt Scores: Calculated behavioral patterns (anonymized)

2.2 Data You Provide

  • Wallet Addresses: When you link a Solana wallet for tipping
  • Scam Reports: Casino domains and complaint details you submit
  • Preferences: Notification settings, tilt thresholds

2.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

  • Full message content (we analyze patterns, not store text)
  • Private keys or seed phrases (never)
  • Payment card details (we use crypto only)
  • Real names, addresses, or phone numbers

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data for the following purposes:

  • Tilt Detection: Analyzing message patterns to detect emotional states
  • Casino Trust Scoring: Maintaining a database of casino safety ratings
  • Fraud Prevention: Blocking scam links and phishing attempts
  • Service Improvement: Optimizing algorithms and fixing bugs
  • Compliance: Responding to legal requests (e.g., law enforcement subpoenas)

We do NOT:

  • Sell your data to third parties
  • Train AI models on your private conversations
  • Share your data with advertisers

4. Data Storage & Security

TiltCheck stores data in secure, encrypted databases hosted on Railway and Render (US/EU regions).

Security measures:

  • Encryption at rest (AES-256)
  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3)
  • Access controls (only authorized personnel can access databases)
  • Regular security audits

Data retention: We retain tilt scores and behavioral data for 90 days. After that, it's automatically purged.

5. Third-Party Services

TiltCheck integrates with third-party services that may collect data:

  • Discord: Subject to Discord's Privacy Policy
  • Solana Blockchain: Wallet transactions are public and immutable
  • VirusTotal: URL scanning service (URLs only, no user data)

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your data
  • Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your data
  • Correction: Fix inaccurate data
  • Opt-Out: Disable tilt tracking (while keeping scam protection active)

If you're in the EU, TiltCheck complies with GDPR:

8. CCPA Compliance (California Users)

If you're in California, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of data sales (we don't sell data anyway)

9. Children's Privacy

TiltCheck is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
